Sullivan Elementary's community school initiative really lives up to its name: the SUCCESS program. SUCCESS stands for the South Chicago Community School at Sullivan.
Sullivan's lead nonprofit partner is Metropolitan Family Services.? Staff from the agency's South Chicago office collaborate with the school and other local community organizations to bring a variety of needed services and activities to local families.?
For example....

Girl Scouts, Technology; Teen Awareness; Sports; Homework Corner; Beginning Sewing; and Boys Club.? A Saturday Academy for students features academic and arts programming, such as Junior Great Books, Saxon Math, Drama, and Music.
